Sinew is a piece that portrays the objectified body through the experience of a fairy tale. Upon entering the room the viewer is reminded of their own physicality by hearing the leaves being crushed below their feet. There is also a sense of being immersed into a book because the walls are painted with images of birch trees eluding to a forest scene. You then see a projected image of a woman who is wrapped in pantyhose seated on a tree stump surrounded by paper mache meat and painted birch trees.
